Conveyor belt sprockets

At HBS Wild we take pride in supplying anything that makes life easier for farmers around the country and abroad. Often this requires custom part fabrication, and we’ve got years’ of experience fulfilling the specific needs of our customers. Sprockets and drives are the pinnacle of customisation available at HBS Wild, from number of teeth to durability. As with most parts, sprocket drives are available in a number of configurations.

Sprocket drives are fitted with teeth which engage the rods for positive drive, and are available with either a solid or support cage finger system. This under-belt support retains a positive pitch circle and directs more tractive strain to the belt.

Sprockets are available in three initial variations to suit specific conveyors – bull-nose up, bull-nose down and hook chain conveyors.

To suit Riveted Bar conveyor:

  • split type 8 tooth to 16 tooth
  • specials
  • rib drives 5”, 6”, 8” and 10”.

To suit Hook Bar conveyor:

  • boss 14 tooth milled
  • boss 9 tooth milled
  • flat 14 tooth milled
  • flat 9 tooth cast.

All sprockets at HBS Wild use precision-engineering to ensure optimal propulsion of conveyors, allowing the highest yield from all crops. Our parts are precisely drafted using computer-aided design (CAD) programs, with precise measurements and tool use entered. HBS Wild uses a range of computer numerical control (CNC) technology, including:

  • high-pressure water jet cutting
  • lathe
  • milling.

Allowing us to deliver the highest quality product for the lowest possible price, direct to farmers and suppliers.

The sprocket and boss, or connection to axle, are generally separate items. However, if wear and tear isn’t an issue, these parts can be a welded entity. With centres available in 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50, we recommend sprocket and boss are kept separate to allow for part replacement.

No matter what part you need, HBS Wild are the specialists in custom-made potato harvester parts, across a range of conveyor types, applications and materials.
