Conveyor belts

HBS Wild traction belting consists of three layers of a fabric tensile reinforcement referred to as EP 900/3, where 900 refers to 900KN/M and the three refers to the ply count.  This 3-ply conveyor belting is vulcanised, highly specific rubber hard enough to last under constant friction with rollers while resisting the affects of chemical and saline-based waters, and also reflecting the impact UV has on rubber when in constant sunlight.

HBS Wild regularly tests the integrity of the conveyor belting produced here to ensure it maintains:

  • high traction abilities
  • tear resistance
  • weather performance in terms of water and UV impact.
  • high tensile capabilities
  • performance under high loads
  • high tensile performance at join.

HBS Wild conveyor belts are manufactured onsite to order to ensure the highest product control possible with cutting, belt preparation, moulding and punching all occurring from the same factory.  This amount of control on a single product shows the care and respect for customers work we look to achieve on all of our products.  It is very rare that any two conveyors are the same, just like it is very rare that any two farmers operate in the same way – therefore we customise our parts for individual needs.

Our conveyors are available in numerous configurations. One variable that often influences the construction of a conveyor is the number of traction belts – which can range anywhere from two to seven, depending on the type of conveyor and its width. Generally what determines the number of traction belts is the diameter of the rod, the width of the conveyor and its potential loads when in use.

All our conveyor belt parts are precision engineered, and available in a selection of materials to suit your purpose – from polyurethane star rollers to  custom-made plastic conveyor belt parts.
